The "Z-Axle" Rear Suspension: Featuring a multi-link design, the Z1 pioneered the rear suspension technology that would later be adopted across the E36 3-Series, ensuring precise, responsive handling.
Powering the Z1 is the silky smooth 2.5-litre straight-six M20 engine from the E30 325i 2,494 cc Inline Six-Cylinder, with 170 bhp at 5,800 rpm paired with a slick-shifting Getrag 5-speed manual gearbox transmitting power to the rear wheels. To make this fabulous car even more exciting it has a Mosselman Turbo fitted producing circa 200 bhp which really lifts the performance and makes it a great fun drive.
